Computer troubles :(

For the last two weeks I've been having the worst time ever. I get all these adverts popping up on websites I go on and they won't go away! 

I even ran my firewall to see whether it could detect a virus (which right now is a paid version of Norton 360) and I'm not impressed. I ran something called a "power eraser" tool which apparently does a deep root scan of your computer and it did absolutely nothing. I never thought Norton 360 were any good but have heard that Kaspersky is one of the best firewalls around. I'm so buying it as soon as my Norton subscription expires. It's pathetic and if you ever wanted to call them to remove the virus themselves they charge you for it. A bit of a waste of time buying the firewall then ay? 

Ever since this virus took over my browser has constantly been crashing for the littlest things and annoying adverts have been playing constantly. Worst of all, when I tried to upload a video last week it didn't work because my editing software totally backfired at the last minute. I wasn't expecting anything like this to happen but it did, it crashed and said it couldn't find the files even though I clearly had the video I just filmed on my computer! 

Luckily my dad's calling over a computer repairman to fix it and hopefully afterwards I can upload more videos without the hassle. Right now I'm looking into using my IPad and iMovie which I hope will be of decent quality although not as good as the HD camera my dad gave me to film on. 

After much consideration I also ordered a video editing software called Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum Production Suite 11 which will hopefully broaden the range of video techniques I can use. I read almost all of the reviews on it and they seemed very positive so decided it might push me in the right direction. I was getting quite bored of Windows Movie Maker anyway so decided to hunt for something decent on Amazon (which I by the way can't resist). 

With a bit of luck my videos should look more professional more effortlessly. It seems good from the description at a glance but at the end of the day it all boils down to how good of a job it does when I'm editing. I can't wait till it comes in the post I only ordered it this week :D
